This last weekend John and I drove to Arlington to meet with my mom for Mother's Day. After worrying about how it would turn out, it turned out to be some of the best time I ever spent with my family. We had a good day shopping, eating and catching up. One of the best things was we got our crib. I couldn't be more excited. We are waiting for it to ship in from Canada.
We got the crib and the matching dresser. I can't wait to see how it will look in the nursery! I also had to take a picture of me during my first Mother's Day.
Yesterday, John felt Emily kick for the first time. (Emily is the name we are trying right now to see how it works). At first he didn't believe it and then the second time he got giddy and started smiling. He then ran to the computer and said he had to brag about it on Facebook. Kinda cute, right?
